A fiery investigation into power, betrayal and truth. How much are you willing to risk to get what you want? Julian Assange has always been prepared to put everything on the line. A hero to some, a national threat to many others, the Wikileaks founder is perhaps one of the most controversial figures of the last decade. For six years, Laura Poitras, who previously brought us a portrayal like no other of Edward Snowden in the Oscar® winning Citizenfour, followed Assange at close range and captured his story and of those around him. She finds herself face to face with all the contradictions of a movement that is bent on freedom of information, but which may also hide ulterior motives far less righteous than it would have us believe.
