Biografilm 2024, the first previews: Les Filles d'Olfa will have its Italian premiere in Bologna in June

For its 20th edition (7 - 17 June, Bologna) Biografilm will present the film Les Filles d'Olfa (Four Daughters) by Kaouther Ben Hania.

The film, in the final five of the Oscars® for the documentary category, winner of three prizes at the Cannes Film Festival, the prize for best documentary at the César and the Spirit Awards, will compete in the Beyond Fiction section, dedicated to the discovery and expansion of the boundaries that separate fiction and documentary.

Les Filles d'Olfa proposes a multifaceted and unobvious vision of the system of oppression of Tunisian women (and not only), a theme dear to the director and in line with Biografilm's attention to women's issues and current affairs.

Distributed under the title Quattro figlie by Arthouse in collaboration with Unipol Biografilm Collection and I Wonder Pictures, the film will be available in cinemas in June.
