The 2026 edition of Bio to B – Industry Days, the professional event dedicated to projects in development, international networking and the meeting point between creativity and the audiovisual industry, has come to a close.
The Awards
This year’s jury, composed of Gianluca Guzzo (Founder and CEO of MYmovies), Darko Nabakov (Director of MakeDox) and Eleonora Savi (Head of Non-Fiction at Fandango), awarded the main prizes of the edition.
The Best Bio to B | Doc International Project Award 2026 powered by BPER, accompanied by a €2,000 development grant, was awarded to The Last Class by Michele Fornasero.
The Best Bio to B | Doc Emilia-Romagna Project Award 2026 powered by ADCOM, consisting of €3,000 worth of technical equipment rental services, went to The Search for Love by Carlotta Piccinini.
The Top Doc Prime Video Channel Award was presented to The Lawyer by Maciek Bochniak.
The DAE – Documentary Association of Europe Bio to B | Doc Award was granted to Jellyfish, a project by Vivian Barbullushi and Arianna Pecorella, which will benefit from one year of DAE membership and a tailored mentoring programme.
Single Land by Paolo Geremei and Giacomo Del Buono received two awards: the MIA Market @ Bio to B | Doc Award 2026, which grants privileged access to the MIA Market in Rome, and the Visioni Incontra @ Bio to B | Doc Award 2026, offering networking and development opportunities within the Milan-based market.
Among this year’s new awards, the EcoMuvi Award 2026, dedicated to projects demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, was presented to Palmaria by Federica Di Giacomo.
The new LaserFilm Award 2026, which provides professional colour correction services worth €6,000, went to A Rose is a Rose by Alina Marazzi.
The Impronta Film Award 2026 was awarded ex aequo to The Amidlisa Affair by Antoine Tassin and The Lawyer by Maciek Bochniak, recognising the outstanding potential of both projects in the final stages of production and distribution.
