An emotional cinematic journey to rediscover what makes us human.
Biografilm Italia
The very best of Italian productions and filmmakers from the past two years. Extraordinary stories that embrace and transcend borders, offering moving portraits, distinctive languages, and landscapes of both the soul and the present. All films in the Biografilm Italia section include subtitles for Deaf people provided by FIADDA Emilia-Romagna, and are marked in the program grid with the [CC] symbol.
Contemporary Lives
The section that reflects plurality through the most contemporary and universal themes presents twelve stories of urgency and transformation this year. Investigations into reality, twelve collective stories that help us understand and discover, listen and observe, between slowed heartbeats and magnifying lenses. The films in this section compete for the Manifesto Award, presented to the best film with social impact.
