Mobility

A regionally-based festival

Mobility is one of the key aspects of a regionally-based festival’s sustainability strategy. Choosing modes of transport with a lower environmental impact helps to reduce transport-related emissions, ease urban traffic and encourage a more mindful approach to experiencing the city. That is why Biografilm encourages the use of sustainable transport to get to and enjoy the Festival.

By foot

In line with the ‘walking distance’ principle, the Festival venues are easily accessible on foot. To encourage the public to adopt more sustainable ways of getting to the venues, Biografilm has introduced financial incentives, aiming to reduce the environmental impact caused by visitor travel.

By bus

Biografilm’s venues are easily accessible by public transport, as they are located near bus stops. Single tickets, City Passes, 10-trip booklets and day tickets can be purchased at tobacconists and other authorised outlets. Single tickets can also be purchased via the Roger app or directly on the bus using electronic payment.

Tper monthly or annual season ticket holders will be eligible for a discounted rate on Festival passes. Those attending screenings using a single ticket, CityPass or electronic receipt via the Muver and Roger apps will also be eligible for a ticket discount by presenting proof of travel in accordance with the procedures communicated by the Festival.

Electric cars or scooters

Tper’s Corrente free-floating electric car-sharing service can be accessed via the  Corrente app. Once downloaded, simply sign up to book one of over 300 electric cars and 100 e-scooters and get around the city without paying for parking.

To recharge your electric vehicles, Gruppo HERA provides an app to help you find the many charging stations located throughout the city.
