  • KitKatClub – Kinks of Berlin, by Philipp Fussenegger, Germany, 2026 – Special Events section

Amid drag, dog play, orgies, solitude and ecstasy, people of all kinds gather at Berlin’s legendary KitKatClub in search of love, freedom, limits, and themselves. A cinematic experience about freedom, intimacy, identity, sex, and overcoming shame—both raw and poetic. Presented at Thessaloniki Doc Fest and CPH:DOX, the film portrays a provocative and transgressive club that is, above all, a safe and communal refuge. Entry is affordable and drink prices are standard. The main requirement to get in is to dress extravagantly—the less clothing, the better—and to be ready to shock and be joyfully shocked. The film will be screened as a special event for Pride Month.
