#Women pioneers of freedom

Twenty-five years after the war in former Yugoslavia, Katica, Ana and Marija, reprocess the trauma of the sexual violence they suffered, through a therapy and empowerment programme dedicated to Serbian and Croatian women victims of war crimes. How can they, survivors of war, regain the joy of living?

Debate after the film by Associazione Orlando, speakers include Patrizia Violi, professor of semeiotics University of Bologna who has studied the theme of trauma and memory from a feminist perspective, and Ana Pano an Amnesty International activist, journalist and linguist.
