From June 17 to 20, Biografilm On the Square returns to the square with some free events in Castel Maggiore and Calderara di Reno

From June 17 to 19 in Castel Maggiore, with the support and contribution of Unione Reno Galliera and the Comune of Castel Maggiore, three films from 2022 that have entered the hearts of audiences will be screened in Piazza Giorgio Amendola.

Monday, June 17 at 9:30 p.m. begins with Darren Aronofsky's The Whale (USA / 2022 / 117'). The film tells the story of Charlie (Brendan Fraser), a lonely literature teacher suffering from severe obesity, who attempts to reconnect with his teenage daughter, with whom he has lost touch, for one last chance at redemption. The film won the Best Makeup and Hairstyle Award and the Best Actor in a Leading Role Award to Brendan Fraser at the Oscars 2023.
