In 2009, Danish director Lea Glob met painter Apolonia Sokol for the first time, while in Paris she was living a bohemian life among other artists and political activists, including Oksana Shachko of the feminist action group Femen. From their bond comes a film that shows us Apolonia's difficult journey in the art world and the resilience of women in a society dominated by patriarchy, capitalism, and war.
