Norway’s legendary black metal scene, a world-famous, still male-dominated environment, is shaken by a sudden new force. Three young women—Nikoline, Victoria, and Johanna—form the band Witch Club Satan without knowing how to play a single instrument. United by a three-year pact, they pledge to become witches and musicians, using black metal to unleash their primal energy. But popularity challenges their values and their vision of freedom. Haunted by the echoes of the witch trials, the film asks: what does it mean to be a free woman today? And are witch hunts really a thing of the past?
