Age & Scarpelli, the joint signature of Agenore Incrocci and Furio Scarpelli, were among the greatest screenwriters in cinema history. A masterful blend of comedy and drama, irresistible dialogue, iconic characters, and unforgettable situations: their stories shaped the collective imagination, offering sharp and ironic portraits of post-war Italy. With more than 120 screenplays, they collaborated with directors such as Monicelli, Risi, Comencini, Germi, Sergio Leone, and their dear friend Ettore Scola. Later, Scarpelli worked with a new generation of filmmakers, including Marco Risi, Virzì, D’Alò, Archibugi, Troisi, and Radford.
