October 2011, Malaysian MotoGP Grand Prix. Marco Simoncelli, known as ‘Sic’, is involved in a tragic accident. Yet, his legacy as an indomitable young man from Romagna and a talented rider does not fade away. Through the Simoncelli Foundation and Casa Marco—a center hosting children with severe disabilities—Sic’s tragedy is transformed into a source of inspiration. The film travels through the places and faces of his life along a dual narrative path: the present, centered on the Foundation, and the past, through the memory of the champion, seen through the eyes of his father Paolo, his then-girlfriend Kate, fellow riders like Valentino Rossi, and lifelong friends.
