The restoration of Paris’s legendary Pathé Palace cinema under the direction of architect Renzo Piano, followed over the course of four years. The director moves beyond technicalities, looking past the machinery and design to highlight the human relationships behind the project: the design team, the technical experts, the construction and cleaning crews, and all the professionals involved.
