Stefania Ippoliti is Head of the Cinema Area and Mediateca at Fondazione Sistema Toscana, the regional institution implementing Tuscany’s policies for the promotion of film culture and the audiovisual industry. She directs the Toscana Film Commission, supporting film and TV production across the region, and manages Cinema La Compagnia in Florence, a venue entirely devoted to documentary cinema and to hosting international festivals. At Mediateca Toscana, she oversees film archive preservation and Lanterne Magiche, the regional film literacy program for schools. She also coordinates Manifatture Digitali Cinema, Tuscany’s network of audiovisual hubs that provides production facilities and advanced training for professionals in the sector. From 2014 to 2019, Ms. Ippoliti served as President of the Italian Film Commissions, the national association of regional film commissions. Throughout her career, she has been committed to fostering innovation, education, and international collaboration within the film and audiovisual industries.
