Jump Cut is an independent production company founded in Trento in 2011. Active in auteur documentary cinema and international co-productions, it develops films that combine observation of reality, formal research, and a focus on the social, cultural, and natural landscapes of the present. Its productions and co-productions include Piccola Patria, Sconosciuti Puri and Adam Ondra: Pushing the Limits, selected by festivals such as Venice, Rotterdam, Visions du Réel, Hot Docs and Karlovy Vary. Alongside cinema, Jump Cut also develops video art and photography projects as areas of experimentation and expansion of the audiovisual language.

Sebastiano Luca Insinga is a producer, director and cinematographer. Born in Catania in 1984, he lives in Trento, where he founded Jump Cut, an independent production company active in auteur documentary cinema. He has produced and co-produced films selected by festivals such as Venice, Rotterdam, Visions du Réel, Hot Docs, Karlovy Vary, Biografilm, Rome Film Fest, among others.
His work combines observation of reality, landscape, memory and formal research, with a particular focus on the social and cultural transformations of the present.
