Paolo Geremei decided to pursue a career as a director the summer he watched the film Stand by Me. His first documentary was Zero a Zero, which won the Biografilm Festival in 2013. He directed the Second Unit of the TV series Crimini, created by Stefano Sollima (Rai 2), and Di4ri (Netflix), before directing the four comedies Din Don 2, 3, 4, 5 (Italia 1). He has recently directed the documentaries Adesso vinco io (RaiCinema), about World Cup–winning coach Marcello Lippi; Quando passa l’uragano (SkyDoc), about the epic story of club president Luciano Gaucci; and Neve, ghiaccio e gloria (RaiDoc), on the evolution of Italian society through the story of the Olympic Games.
