I was born in Parma in 1991. I began working as a photographer while studying Architecture in Milan. I graduated with top marks in 2019, presenting an experimental thesis on the potential of visual anthropology as a research tool in complex living environments. The outcome of this research was a short documentary titled Lume di candela, my first work. In 2017, I began developing my first feature-length documentary project, Honeydew, which was filmed in California over the course of five years. This marked the beginning of an extensive hands-on learning journey that, over three years, led me to co-found Raw Sight, a film production company, together with Michael Petrolini and Francesco Cibati. Since then, I have progressively refined my technical and artistic skills in directing, cinematography, and writing. Alongside documentary filmmaking, I work as a photographer and videomaker in commercial and outdoor productions.
