Lorenzo Spinelli (1994) is a filmmaker from Rome with a background in anthropology, specialising in the creative reuse of audiovisual archives. After graduating in documentary filmmaking from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Palermo, he wrote and directed his first short film, One Breath Partial but Complete, which was presented at the Cannes SFC | Rendez-vous Industry Short Film Corner and won the Zavattini Award, the Best Short Film Award at the Turin Film Festival (2023), as well as other accolades in Italy and abroad.
