Giusy Buccheri

Writer and director. She has been making independent documentaries since 2002. Her works, which explore issues such as inclusion, multiple identities, and migration, have been screened at Italian and international film festivals. Some of her most significant works include: I pupi di Ra ‘Gnaziu, Sortino Social Club. Stories of a Sicilian Community Emigrated to Australia, and Future, it’s far too big. Dreams, Worries, and Hopes of Two Second-Generation Young People. She collaborates with Italian and European production companies on the research and development of documentary projects.
