Aplysia is a film production company founded in 2007, based in Ferrara and Bologna. It works in creative documentary, commissioned video, post-production and distribution. Its editorial line favours projects on artistic, anthropological, biographical and ecological themes. The documentary feature The Wonder (2026), by Joshua Wahlen and Alessandro Seidita, currently in distribution, brings together some of the most influential Italian women writers and poets: Barbara Alberti, Chandra Candiani, Roberta Dapunt, Claudia Fabris, Grazia Marchianò, Antonietta Potente and Susanna Tamaro.

From 2004 to 2009 he worked as an investigative journalist for Rainews24. In 2007 he founded Aplysia, a film production company specialized in creative documentary, based in Ferrara and Bologna. Working in different roles (editor, screenwriter, director, producer), he has contributed to over 70 film projects, including 20 feature films. His film La Ricerca (2023) was awarded at some of the most important international festivals (Visions du Réel, Biografilm, Le FIFA). He directs commissioned videos in institutional and commercial contexts and teaches in film schools and education institutions.
