Federica Zaffina was born in Lamezia Terme (CZ) in 2000 and moved to Rome to study traditional animation. After realizing that she preferred writing to drawing, she enrolled in the DAMS (Department of Music and Performing Arts) program at Roma Tre. She then attended the screenwriting course taught by Angelo Pastore at the Sentieri Selvaggi Film School, and a master’s degree in Screenwriting, Production, and Marketing. Alongside her studies, she gained experience writing for film magazines, collaborating in the organization of festivals, and developing independent projects, such as short films and events with her collective, Pop Corti.
