Alina Marazzi is a documentary, fiction film and theatre director. Her work focuses on female subjectivity, motherhood and memory. Un’ora sola ti vorrei – For one more hour with you (2002) is her first personal film, a montage of her family homemovies telling the life of her lost mother. Her films have been awarded prizes at various international festivals, broadcasted on Italian and foreign tv channels, distributed in theatrical release and have been on show at Italian art galleries and museums. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna and artistic director of Unarchive Footage Fest Roma, dedicated to the creative reuse of archive images.
