Giulia Amati is an Italian-French producer, director and founder of the production company Blink Blink. She holds a degree in Philosophy from La Sapienza University in Rome and studied filmmaking at New York University. In 2019 she graduated from the European documentary producers training program EURODOC. She has filmed across the Palestinian Territories, Africa, Jamaica, Peru and Bhutan, developing a distinct, globally engaged perspective. Her last creative documentary KRISTOS, THE LAST CHILD premiered at the Venice International Film Festival – Giornate degli Autori. She has served as a jury member at various film festivals, including the Al Jazeera International Film Festival and the David di Donatello Awards.
