Tin Hinan, la dernière nomade
Doc Around Europe New Talents
Leïla, the film’s director, journeys across the Algerian Sahara in search of Tin Hinan, the ancestral Berber queen of the Tuareg people. Joined by her mother on this adventure, Leïla crosses paths with Fatimata and her six-year-old daughter, Lella—the last representatives of a vanishing nomadic way of life. A personal, familial, and sororal story that explores inheritance, mother-daughter relationships, and the traditions of a people whose lifestyle is struggling to withstand modernity.
