London Boys
Behind the intimidating roar of the “Bangladeshi Bad Boys” motorcycles lies a group of second-generation Bangladeshi men who see in their bikes a symbol of identity and a path to redemption from racism. We witness moments of surprising vulnerability that lift the veil on the discrimination faced by the Bangladeshi community in the UK and the resulting pain and frustration. With an affectionate gaze toward East London, LONDON BOYS explores themes such as masculinity, belonging, and Islamophobia. The result is a moving portrait of a group of men carrying the weight of generations of racism and a deep identity crisis.
