Angelo – Il principe del vintage
What drives someone to seek, save, and preserve a garment as if it were a work of art? The film delves into the heart of this passion—part cult, part obsession—traversing the world of Angelo Caroli, a pioneer of vintage in Italy. At his A.N.G.E.L.O. Palace in Lugo di Romagna, a mega-store and archive housing over 120,000 items, consultants, fashion houses, stylists, designers, and collectors arrive from all over the world in search of shapes, fabrics, eras, and visions. From American denim to haute couture, every piece becomes a clue, a relic, a chance for rebirth. More than a biography, the film explores the vertigo of collecting and reuse: the desire to hold onto what time consumes and transform it into memory and future.
