Mariachiara Illica Magrini is a writer and producer based in Parma. Since 2010, she has been developing and writing narrative documentary films. Her films, produced by Wendy Film, have been created in collaboration with television including Rai 3 and Al Jazeera English, and have been distributed in more than forty countries worldwide. With the documentary Lovebirds: Rebel Lovers in India (Rai, 2012), she won the Best Screenplay Award at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival in New Delhi in 2015.In 2021, she won the Premio Solinas for Best Film Subject with La legge del lupo.
