The Voice of Hind Rajab (La voce di Hind Rajab)
January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call: a six-year-old girl, trapped in a car under gunfire in Gaza, begs to be rescued. Staying in constant contact with her, clinging to her desperate voice, they will do everything in their power to save her. From celebrated director Kaouther Ben Hania comes a powerful and unmissable film, winner of the Silver Lion – Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival and based on a staggering true story. While the characters on screen are all portrayed by professional actors, the voice we hear on the other end of the phone is the original recording of that little girl. Her name was Hind Rajab.
