Teresa Sala

Teresa Sala was born in Milan in 1987, under the sign of Chernobyl. After studying Cinema and Theater at the University of Milan, she earned a degree in Filmmaking from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Lombardy branch in 2013. Restless and curious, she focuses primarily on documentaries, but enjoys experimenting with new forms and content: fiction, commercials, video installations, video dance, and photography, to name a few. She loves cinema but has a longstanding relationship with transfeminist and queer activism. She occasionally flirts with Debordian tendencies and occasionally gives a nod to contemporary dance. She still hopes to run away with the circus.
