Company Raw Sight Raw Sight Production is an independent production company founded in 2021 in Bologna, focused on documentary and auteur cinema. The company develops and produces projects rooted in the observation of reality, with attention to social, urban, and human themes, adopting a flexible and collaborative approach from the earliest development stages. It has produced Rent Strike Bolognina and Umar, and served as executive producer for Romina, awarded at the Biografilm Festival. It also co-produced Honeydew – The End of Illegality, selected for major international forums and awarded the distribution prize at Festival dei Popoli.

Michael Petrolini was born in Turin in 1992 and raised in Parma. After graduating from a socio-psycho-pedagogical high school, he studied Sociology in Milan, which he later left to work in California. This marked the beginning of his passion for travel, leading him to work across five continents over six years. In 2017 he trained at the Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Film School in Bologna and directed Honeydew – The End of Illegality, selected for several international forums and awarded at Festival dei Popoli. In 2020 he directed Rent Strike Bolognina and Romina, which won several awards, including three at the Biografilm Festival. In 2021 he founded Raw Sight. In 2022 he developed Mater.
