Marta Bedeschi (born 1992) began working as a screenwriter after attending the Bottega Finzioni writing school. Over the years she has collaborated with companies including Jole Film, Articolture, and Kamera Film. A finalist in competitions such as Pitch in the Day, Premio Vincenzoni, Screenplay Contest, and RIFF, she won MiC selective grants for writing with an animated series in 2019 and a feature film in 2025. She wrote and served as artistic director on shorts including Mon clochard, Miya e Jin, and Sommersi, which won the Rai Cinema Channel Award at RIFF 2024. She received development funding from the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission for the feature Il Nuovo Mondo, based on Gianni Celati’s Narratori delle pianure.
