Helena Falabino (b. 1988) is an Italian-Argentinian artist based in Bologna. They work with photography, video, movement, archival materials and music. Their work often contains an autobiographical subtext that inspires their artistic research about desire, intimacy, family, non-conforming sexuality and the relationship with their own art. They work as a film curator for Some Prefer Cake Film Festival and they are a co-founder of S.L.U.R.P., an independent film festival dedicated to queer pornography. A year ago they created SONORA. a flinta* group that explores musical improvisation.
