Its productions include the documentaries I Love Lucca Comics & Games, as well as the documentary series Sguardi in camera. In collaboration with It’s Alive Films has co-produced Teemu Nikki’s feature films The Death Is a Problem for the Living and 100 Litres of Beer. AAO is coproducing the new feature films by Radu Jude and Gábor Reisz, two of the most prominent auteur voices in contemporary cinema. The company is affiliated with I Wonder Pictures, one of Italy’s leading independent distributors, which has brought to Italian cinemas films such as Glazer’s The Zone of Interest and Fargeat’s The Substance.

After several experiences in communication in NGOs and communication agencies, she gained almost fifteen years of experience in independent cinema. At first, she worked on the production and distribution of documentaries focused on social issues at ZaLab, a company consisting of Italian documentarists, including the director and founder Andrea Segre. She then worked at the company Avventurosa, founded by the director Pietro Marcello, as production manager for documentary and fiction projects of directors such as Pietro Marcello, Alice Rohrwacher and Francesco Munzi, also managing international co-production projects. For almost tree years now, she has been working for I Wonder Pictures, a film distribution company that recently initiated its production department, of which Giulia Moretti is responsible.
