ZaLab Film Srl was founded in 2014 as an artistic and creative laboratory devoted to production and distribution of creative documentaries, vehicles for social engagement and inclusion, reflecting around current, historical and sociological themes.
Merging of the experience and skills of its founders, Andrea Segre (docs and feature films director), Matteo Calore (director of photography), Sara Zavarise (editor), Stefano Collizzolli (author and director), and Michele Aiello (author and director), and of the new partners Davide Crudetti (author and director) and Giulia Campagna (producer), ZaLab also works on theatrical and non-theatrical distribution of Italian and international creative docs, cinema education and participatory video labs. ZaLab Film is one of the most innovative companies distributing creative docs in Italy, from theatres to VOD platforms.
The docs produced by ZaLab have premiered in some of the most important international festivals (Venice FF, Turin FF, Idfa, Hot Docs, Vision Du Reel, DokLeipzig, DOK.Fest Munich, CPH:DOX ...) and have been broadcast by the main national networks.

Giulia Campagna graduated in Contemporary Art History from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and completed with honours the MA in Innovation and Organisation of Culture and the Arts at Alma Mater Studiorum, Bologna. After early experiences with international festivals including Biografilm, Biennale Danza e Musica, and RIFF, she began working in film production in 2012. She specializes in development, public funding, and executive production, with a focus on documentaries. She has collaborated with leading Italian production companies including Wildside and Eurofilm. Since 2018, she has been producer and partner at ZaLab Film. In 2024, she received the Doc/it Women Award for Pryvit Europa by Michele Aiello.
