Gian Marco Pezzoli, director, born in 1992, has directed several short films recognized for their artistic value. Among them, Mon clochard (2018) starring Roberto Citran and Giovanni Calcagno, awarded at various festivals. In 2023, he was admitted to the advanced filmmaking program led by Marco Bellocchio. In 2024, he directed the short film Sommersi, winner of the Rai Cinema Channel Award at RIFF and Best International Short Film at the Fastnet Film Festival, judged by Lenny Abrahamson and Aisling Walsh. Sommersi was screened in over 100 Italian cinemas thanks to the Corto che Passione initiative promoted by FICE, ANEC, and Rai Cinema. In 2025, he received the MiC Selective Grants for the feature film Sommersi.
