Domenico Procacci founded Fandango in 1989. Since then, it has produced more than 100 films, taken part in numerous festivals and won many awards, including two Grand Prix de la Jury at Cannes for Matteo Garrone’s "Gomorra" and "Reality", and a Grand Prix de la Jury at Venice for Rolf de Heer’s "Bad Boy Bubby". It has worked with some of the most prominent Italian and international directors.
Fandango also produces TV series, documentaries, TV shows and podcasts. It is also a publishing house (Fandango Libri), a record label (Radiofandango), a distribution company and an international sales company. Fandango has recently acquired renowned magazines such as "Il tennis italiano" and "La Revue Dessinée".

After graduating at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and Rotterdam Lab alumna, Eleonora Savi has worked at Endemol Italia, Wildside and Aurora TV, and co-founded Officine Mattoli Produzioni, producing Noci Sonanti (Dok Leipzig 2019, Biografilm 2019 – New Talent Award). Since 2020 she has been Head of Nonfiction at Fandango, overseeing doc series and documentary features. Her recent title Ukrainian Whispers by Francesca Mannocchi won the David di Donatello 2025 for Best Documentary.
