Born in Puglia in 1990, Attilio Di Turi grew up in a family with a strong connection to photography, developing a passion for storytelling through moving images from a young age. He moved to Rome, where he earned a diploma in Film Editing from the Roberto Rossellini State Institute of Cinematography and Television and completed a screenwriting workshop at the Experimental Center of Cinematography. He has worked alongside directors such as Valerio Jalongo, Elisa Fuksas, Valentina Bertuzzi, Nello Correale, Valerio Attanasio, Sabrina Iannucci, and Marco Castaldi. In 2025, he was selected for the Italian Doc Screenings. He is currently developing his debut feature, the documentary film Baracche e Burattini which was a finalist in the Netpitch organized by Writers Guild Italia and the winner of the Filmmaking Etnografico Lab organized by AntropicA and SIAE in collaboration with Aamod and Doc/it.
