Paolo was born in Rome, graduated in Mathematics with a specialisation in Media and Technology, and went on to study Creative Writing and Screenwriting. He worked as a cameraman, editor, still photographer and assistant director, before becoming a director and making over 40 videos, shooting adverts, music videos and documentaries for nationally and internationally renowned artists and brands. He was accepted onto the Biennale College Cinema programme with a mockumentary project and secured funding from Mibact and the Lazio Region for a short film and a feature-length fiction film respectively. His latest film was selected for TFL Next Green Narratives 2025.
