Tom is a jaded actor: he is constantly offered the same stereotypical roles defined by his skin color and his afro. He decides to take matters into his own hands and make his own film. His plan? To defy conventions by casting only non-white actors, who will develop the story together in a country house in the South of France. However, he soon finds himself confronting the limits of his own idea. An extraordinarily funny and politically incisive film that mirrors the director’s own experiences in the film industry.
