Raffaella Polverini

Name Raffaella Polverini
Professional Area Publisher
Company Kaba edizioni -Al3vie The publishing journey undertaken by Raffaella Polverini stems from a firmly held belief: a book is not merely an object to be published, but a space for connection. Every title can become a meeting place for imagination, education, personal experience, and cultural openness. This vision gave rise to Kaba Edizioni and Al3ViE, two distinct imprints connected by a shared weave of intentions. Kaba Edizioni, founded in 2009, focuses primarily on young readers. Its catalogue is aimed at schools, families, and anyone seeking books that are both engaging and supportive of personal growth. Reading is presented as a pleasure, a discovery, an exercise in imagination, and an educational opportunity. Al3ViE, founded in 2021, broadens the scope of the project. The imprint brings together books that explore social, spiritual, and political themes through fiction, poetry, essays, art, and translation. It is a plural path: not a single direction, but multiple roads intersecting to raise questions, foster listening, and generate awareness. Alongside the two imprints, the cultural blog CartaVetro (www.cartavetro.com) and the fiber art blog Txtilezine (www.txtilezine.com), both curated by Raffaella Polverini, contribute to a broader project. They are joined by the website Leggimileggi (www.leggimileggi.com), where classic texts, poetry readings, reviews, audio content, drawings, and writings by readers of all ages become part of a vibrant publishing community.
