MakeDox - International Creative Documentary Film Festival
MakeDox is an international Creative Documentary Film Festival based in Skopje, North Macedonia, founded in 2010. MakeDox promotes creative documentary filmmaking through screenings, educational programs, and community initiatives. Its industry platform, MakeCoProDox, supports regional co-productions and collaboration between filmmakers and international industry professionals. The 17th edition of the festival will take place from 20 to 27 August 2026 in Skopje.

Darko Nabakov is an actor and art historian based in Skopje, Macedonia, working in event and cultural management. He has been part of MakeDox for twelve years, contributing to film selection, catalog development, and the Traveling Cinema program, and has served as festival director since 2019. He has also worked as event manager at Europe House Skopje and curated the film program at MoCA Skopje (2021–2022), organizing over 350 events throughout his career.
