Kiné Società Cooperativa, founded in 2008 by audiovisual professionals, is a film production company focused on a collaborative and dynamic structure. It began producing documentaries in 2009, initially centered on film archive reuse, in collaboration with Home Movies. Memory and its reinterpretation are central to its work, later expanding into fiction after training in major programs and winning the 2020 European Film Award for editing with Il Varco. Its fiction projects include Pluto (2022) and The Properties of Metals (Berlinale). In 2024, it co-produced Charlotte, one of us. Kiné develops projects at a European level, fostering international co-productions.

Andrea Di Fede (1987) graduated in DAMS from the University of Bologna and is an editor and producer with over ten years of experience in film. He began his career working with Kiné, Vezfilm, and Home Movies as a small-format film restorer and editor. Since 2018, he has been a partner at Kiné Società Cooperativa, working in various roles including producer, archivist, video assist, and DoP for videos and documentaries. His experience working closely with different departments within the film industry naturally led him to the production department, where he has taken on roles such as production assistant, production secretary, and production delegate. After working on several international productions, he continues to develop new projects that include both documentaries and fiction.
