Company Tommasoli Visual Factory Tommasoli Visual Factory is a creative and cultural company founded in 2017 by Filippo Tommasoli. Based in Verona and rooted in the legacy of Studio Tommasoli—a historic photographic studio active for over a century—it combines tradition with innovation. Recognized by the Veneto Region and Invitalia as a high-impact cultural enterprise, it has received support from programs such as POR FESR and SELFIEmployment, and was selected by the European Commission for EYE – Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. The company operates as a research and production space dedicated to audiovisual storytelling, developing documentary and photographic projects that explore territories, cultures and communities. Its work merges anthropological rigor with artistic sensitivity, engaging closely with local actors and archives to create narratives that preserve and reinterpret both tangible and intangible heritage.

Filippo Tommasoli (b. 1990, Verona) is a director, DOP and writer working internationally across film, documentary and commercial projects. With a background in literature and visual anthropology, his practice moves between image and language, blending documentary observation with a poetic approach. He is the founder of Tommasoli Visual Factory, where he develops visual storytelling projects focused on territories, communities and cultural heritage. A published poet, his work explores themes of identity, memory and belonging. He also co-founded RedLab – Darkroom over the Borders, engaging with migration and border issues. His short film Pizza! (2021) received several awards at international festivals.
