At 7 p.m. at the Cinema Lumière - Sala Mastroianni the world premiere of Nichetti Quantestorie (77’, 2025) by Stefano Oddi. The documentary retraces the milestones of Maurizio Nichetti's career Maurizio, after his return behind the camera with the recent Amichemai, his first film 20 years after his last directorial effort. Through archive material, the film recounts an author capable of revolutionising cinematographic language with irony, innovative techniques innovative techniques and a surreal touch. Maurizio Nichetti will receive the prestigious Celebration of Lives Award 2025. The director and producer Daniele Vilardi will attend the evening.

At 7.30 p.m. at the Cinema Lumière - Sala Scorsese will be presented Mr. Nobody Against Putin (90’, 2025) by David Borenstein and co-directed by Pavel Ilyich Talankin. The film tells the story of Pavel ‘Pasha’ Talankin, a teacher in a Russian school known for his empathy and irony, now forced to promote state ideology. His school is transformed: groups of children militarised, repressive laws, students recruited for war. As the school's videomaker he documents the changes around him and becomes an international informer who captures revealing footage of a changing society. The director and co-director will be present in an online connection. Mr. Nobody Against Putin is part of a series of TEEN screenings (open free of charge to 14-17 year olds). The film is also the final event of the educational project Nuovo Cinema Coraggioso (Biografilm| Nuovo Cinema Coraggioso).

After the success in Italy of The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic at Venice 78, Teemu Nikki arrives at Biografilm with 100 Litres of Gold, (88’, 2024) his latest original and entertaining feature film that will be presented at 9 p.m. at the BIOGRAFILM HERA THEATRE | Pop Up Cinema Arlecchino in the presence of the Finnish director and producers Andrea Romeo, Jani Poso and Giulia Moretti. Taina and Pirkko, two dazed sisters, live from day to day, with few ideas and few prospects, but with an unquestionable talent: their sahti - the typical craft beer that in Finland, by tradition, accompanies every party, wedding or funeral. When they promise to brew 100 litres of it for a family wedding, they outdo themselves and produce the best batch ever, so good that they end up drinking it all themselves! Grappling with a huge hangover, the two will find themselves involved in a series of hilarious misadventures, as they desperately try to get more beer (by any means necessary!), save their marriage and regain their reputation as the best brewers in the village.

On the same day, Roberto Beani's Il Pilastro (80’, 2025) at the Cinema Lumière - Sala Mastroianni at 9.30 p.m. and again at 10.30 p.m. in Sala Scorsese. On the outskirts of Bologna, in the 1960s, a vast public housing complex was built, renamed rione Pilastro, which today is only known to the general public for its crime episodes. But within it, the Pilastro is also animated by those who would like to make the spaces in which they they live in. The director will be present at the screening. The film is subtitled for deaf people by FIADDA Emilia-Romagna.

The day's screenings include Petra Kelly - Act Now! by Doris Metz at the Chiostro del Complesso di Santa Cristina “della Fondazza” at 9.30 p.m.
