Saturday 7 June is not just about screenings: the 12th edition of Bio to B - Industry Days | Doc also begins. This year in a new and prestigious location, the Cinema Modernissimo, in the heart of Bologna. Two days dedicated to European documentary production and culture, with educational appointments, international meetings and new creative perspectives. In addition to the now consolidated Pitching Forum with 20 projects in development, the programme is enriched this year with innovative formats, such as Development Room, dedicated to documentaries still in an embryonic state, and Green Frames - Festival Sustainability Think Tank, aimed at reflecting on the ecological, social and economic impact of cultural events.
Also new this year is Biograbook. From 7 to 14 June, in Piazzetta Pier Paolo Pasolini, the cycle of seven meetings organised in collaboration with Marco Nardini of Otago Literary Agency, to present as many new publications. A true open-air cultural salon: a place for discussion, exchange and reflection, where the story of lives is interwoven between the pages of a book as well as between the images of a film. Because, in every form, Biografilm is and remains a celebration of the telling of lives.
