An invitation to look more closely, to slow down our gaze, and to allow ourselves the time for reflection. With this spirit, we present the official image of the 22nd edition of Biografilm, scheduled from June 5 to 15, 2026: a visual identity that captures and conveys the soul of the Festival.
It is created by the young illustrator from Brescia, Maria Giulia Pedrotti, known as Gitti, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Her work stems from a concept developed together with the Biografilm team and takes shape as a true window onto the complexity of the contemporary world. It is not just an image, but a conscious gesture: a symbolic opening that invites the viewer to observe reality with depth, critical thinking, and sensitivity. This window becomes a metaphor for the experience that Biografilm has been offering for over twenty years: a space for encounter and exchange where documentary cinema becomes a tool of exploration, capable of telling authentic stories and offering multiple perspectives. In a time marked by rapid changes that are often difficult to interpret, the Festival reaffirms itself as a place to pause, understand, and connect.
