From the heart of Brazil's favelas, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the world of “flying balloons.” In Rio De Janeiro and São Paulo, creating, flying, and chasing balloons is a valuable and competitive art form, as well as a central element of cultural identity since colonial times. Today, however, the authorities have declared this art illegal, ranking it just below drug dealing and forcing it underground.
