Thank you for sharing this extraordinary edition of Biografilm with us
Words will never be enough to express our gratitude for the participation, enthusiasm, and attention you have dedicated to this edition of Biografilm.
Over the past days, just as promised by the festival poster created by Mariagiulia Pedrotti, we opened many windows onto the world together. Through cinema, we met people, shared experiences, and discovered stories that moved, surprised, and inspired us. A festival is, above all, a place where stories and people meet, and thanks to the trust of the filmmakers who chose to share their work with us, we hope these stories will continue to resonate beyond the screen, encouraging us to take action, speak up, and build networks of solidarity and community. Because a revolution can begin with a story.
Thank you for being with us. Thank you not only for filling our theatres and festival venues, but also for your questions, exchanges, and the moments of discussion and dialogue with our guests that enriched every day of the programme.
This has been a special, intense, and deeply participatory edition of Biografilm. For that reason, our gratitude can never be fully expressed.
The emotion we experienced last night in Piazza Maggiore, filled with people for the screening of The Voice of Hind Rajab and the presentation of the Celebration of Lives Award 2026 to Kaouther Ben Hania, will remain one of the most treasured memories of this edition. It was a powerful shared moment that reminded us once again why we believe in cinema as a space for encounter, awareness, and transformation.
Thank you for walking this journey with us.
But the journey is not over yet. While we look forward to meeting again at the next edition of the Festival, we invite you to join us for Biografilm in the Square, our free open-air screening series bringing some of the most acclaimed films from Biografilm 2026 to the squares of Castel Maggiore and Castenaso.
