Bio to B - Industry Days | Doc: selected documentary projects unveiled at Pitching Forum

Announced the 20 documentary projects in development that will be presented within Bio to B - Industry Days | Doc (June 7-8, 2025 at the Modernissimo cinema in Bologna), an appointment that Biografilm dedicates to networking, comparison and updating the European documentary audiovisual market.

Now in its twelfth edition, Bio to B is a point of reference for national and European documentary professionals: this is attested by the large participation in the call for documentary projects, with more than 130 candidates from 23 European countries, the great quality of the selected projects and the presence of the most interesting productions. In the selection, 4 productions from Emilia-Romagna, 13 European productions or co-productions, 13 projects whose creative teams present a fair gender balance, and 8 projects that have declared to implement sustainable practices. The selected projects will be able to count again this year on dedicated training for the teams that will present the projects to the audience of decision makers composed of the most inspiring European audiovisual players. Among them, just to name a few: broadcast and OTT representatives such as Rai Documentari and Rai Cinema, Cinecittà, Sky Documentaries, TopDoc, ZaLab, OpenDDB; international distributors and sales agents such as I Wonder Pictures, Syndicado, Cinephil, Filmotor, MMM; festivals and markets such as Marché du Film / Cannes Docs, Giornate degli autori, MIA Market, Visioni dal Mondo. Finally, the presence of the regional Film Commissions, the Italian Film Commission and the Creative Europe Desk Italy Media is essential.
