[active project]
Biografilm Digital Generations is a project of territorial relevance curated by Biografilm in collaboration with Archilabò, Caracò, Animaphix, I Wonder Pictures, Pop Up Cinema, TCB, Kopa and the University of Padua, funded as part of the National Cinema and Images for Schools Plan promoted by MIC and MIM.
In its first edition, it involved in the school year 2024/25 schools of all levels in the provinces of Bologna, Reggio Emilia and Parma, for a total of more than 700 male and female students.
It is an educational pathway for schools that uses cinema to stimulate participatory reflection by young people and teachers on inclusion and combating discriminatory phenomena. Those who participate acquire technical skills on audiovisual language, but also awareness of the impact of images on our lives, becoming activə citizensə buildersə of inclusive communities.
The teacher training and didactic-laboratory with classes focuses on education in film language and experimentation with visual self-narrative tools, with a reflection on the ethical and conscious use of images shared online.
The project opens in Bologna with experiential training for teachers and closes with in-theater film screenings with guests, made with the active participation of all classes.
The digital educational kit and the short films made by the classes are available online free of charge on the project website: https://biografilmgenerazionidigitali.it/
